I.S.A.F. Grade C1 Championship (Standard Men and Radial Woman) Points for ISAF Olympic Classes Official Ranking
1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing. 1.2 No national prescriptions will apply. 1.3 Racing rules ‘Racing Signals –66 will be changed as follows: ??66 – Time to reopen on last day. 1.4 If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence.
2.1 Boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizing authority.
3.1 The championship is open to all boats of the Laser Standard, Laser Radial and Laser 4.7 classes, which should be in good standing with ILCA for 2011. 3.2 Eligible boats may enter by completing the attached form and sending it, together with the requiredfee (items 3.3 and 4.1) to regatas@ycu.org.uyor by fax +598 (2) 6221584 by September14th,2011. 3.3 Payment: Deposit or transfer, in US Dollars, to:

On Tuesday, 20thand Sunday25thno warning signal will be issued after 04:00pm.
6.1 The sailing instructions will be available on registration.
7.1 The event will be held at the Yacht Club Uruguayo (YCU) located at BuceoHarbour, Montevideo, URUGUAY (Latitude: 34º54’ 500 S/ Longitude: 056º07’ 900). The YCU address is Puerto del Buceo s/n, CP 11300 Montevideo, URUGUAY.
8.1 Sailing courses will be Trapezoid or Windward/Leeward as described in the sailing instructions.
9.1 Appendix P will apply. 9.2 Decisions of the jury will be final as provided in rule 70.5.
10.1 Three races are required to be completed to constitute a series. 10.2 (a) When fewer than five races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of herraces scores. (b) When from five to eight races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of herrace scores excluding her worst score. (c) When nine of more races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her racescores excluding her two worst scores.
11.1 Team leaders and coaches shall register their boats filling a form at the event’s secretary without anyfee. The time is the same as registration for their class.
12.1 Boats shall be kept in their assigned places in the boat’s park area of YCU at Buceo Harbor.

14.1 Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4, Decision to Race. Theorganizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or deathsustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
